CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.
CONCERT AND DANCE.
The monthly concert, and dance of the South Auckland Caledonian Society took place on Saturday. The programme . was as follows:—Selection, Society’s Pipe Band; songs, Mrs. F. Atason. Atiss Mable Cameron, Miss Maud Blythe, Mr. I\. Fade, -Master -Brant- (a hoy soprano), who received a great reception; elocutionary numbers, Miss Gladys Barlow, Mr. 11. Woodward; violin seleclions, Miss R. Robinson. The accompanists were Miss Rose Findlay, Pipe-. Major S. Clothier.
An Irish Jig competition resulted: Open class. Miss Duicle Sorenson; novice class. Miss Joan LauVenson. Mr. Sutherland was judge. For the old-time dance, Mrs. Flyger’s orchestra supplied the music.
The Monte Carlo winners were Aliss T. Dempsey and Mr. S. Paget.
