BOUT FOR TO-MORROW. FINE CONTEST PROMISED. The initial contest of the season staged under the auspices of the Waikato Wrestling Association will be held to-morrow evening, when "Whiskers" Blake will meet Jake Patterson in a professional bout of eight rounds. As both wrestlers are of the aggressive type the bout, should not be wanting in excitement and action.

Blake arrived in Hamilton to-day, and is reported to be in first-class form. His powerful physique enables him tc employ a wide repertoire of ■holds, while his phenomenal height, gives him a no mean advantage over the average- wrestler. Patterson, who has been described as one of the most aggressive and formidable wrestlers In the ring, possesses a record which Includes victories over Kotsonaros, Kaplan and Coleman. These successes alone, place him in the. highest rank of matmen. An attractive quartette of amateur bouts will procedo the main attraction.
