Middlesex v. Lancashire. —Middlesex, first innings 299 (Hendren, not out, 162); second innings 69 (Booth took six wickets for 24). Lancashire, first innings 336 (Watson 138, Iddon 98, Durston took five wickets for 60) ; second innings, one \yicket for 33. Lancashire won by, nine wickets.

Gloucaster v. Surrey.—-Glouces-ter, first innings, 180; second innings, 172 (Brown took seven wickets for 76). Surrey, first innings 228 (Gregory 73, Hammond took six wickets for 68) ; second innings, seven wickets for 125. Surrey won by three wickets.

Hampshire v. Warwick. —Hampshire first innings 151 (Mayer took six wickets for 51); second innings, 131 (Mayer took six wickets for 31). Warwick, first innings 315 (Kilner 102, Wyatt 90). Warwick won by an innings and 33 runs.

Derbyshire v. Yorkshire. —Derbyshire, first innings 51 (Verity took six wickets for 12); second innings 78 (Verity took six wickets for 41 and Macaulay four wickets for 29).
