BAR OF HOTEL USED. BARMAN FINED £3O. (By Telegraph.—Press Association ) W ELLINGTON, Wednesday. A charge against John O'Halloran (41), barman, of carrying on business as a bookmaker, was withdrawn today. He pleaded guilty to a substituted charge of using the bar of the Clarendon Hotel as a common gaminghouse. A fine of £3O was imposed.
