SOME HIGH PRICES PAID.

There was a large bench of buyers at Messrs A. Moreland and Sons' sale of Beachlands pedigree Jerseys at Te Rapa to-day.

It was one of the most representative sales for many years, buyers being present from all parts of the Dominion, this fact alone being a, tribute to the quality of the stock. Up to the time of going to press the highest .prices paid were s—Beaeliland’s Queen's Maid, v.h.o. (September 17, 1924), by Hawkesbury Gale out of Beachland’s Promise; sold to Mr G. Walker, Whangarei, for 170 gns.

Lancaster, Palmerston North, for 105gns. , Beachlands Blossom, h.c., (Septembers, 1924), by Beachlands General Twylish out of Reid Park Rosey Fortune, sold to J. Jameson, Masterton, for 130gns.
