WEDDING.
GORDON —PHILLIPS.
The wedding was solemnised at StDavid’s Church, Te Aroha, between Miss Ina Phillips, late of Montrose, Scotland, and Mr William Gordon, of Arapuni, late of Inverness, Scotland. The Rev. H. B. Hughes was the officiating minister. The bride wore a frock of white georgette and lace, with a long veil, and carried a shower bouquet of white flowers and maiden hair fern. She was given away by Mr D. Kerr, of Waitoa. Mrs Kerr, who wore a pale , green frock and carried a bouquet of autumn tints, was matron of honour and Mr George Robertson, -best man. The reception was held at the Domain Tearooms, where Mr Roy Robertson acted as toast master. Mr and Mrs Gordon left for Wellington on their honeymoon tour, the bride’s travelling dress being of cherry cloth, with black coat and felt hat. 'They' will take up their future residence at Arapuni.
