CHATHAM CUP ENTRIES. ’

WELLINGTON, Tuesday,
The council of the. New Zealand Football Association has decided that the associations concerned be asked for their opinions as to the division of gate money at Brown Shield and PetffP'; Dawson Oup matches, whether they ■prefer a division of three-fifths to the travelling team and two-fifths to the other, or Hie home team to take all and pay all. Permission was granted the Wanganui Association to send a team to play Palmerston North on June 3.
Entries for the Chatham Cup have been received as follows; —Duller, three; Otago, two; South Auckland, three; Auckland, two; Poverty Bay, one; Wanganui, 'one; Wellington, seven; Palmerston, one; Canterbury, seven.
The Auckland Association wrote that some clubs were. delaying entrance to see what assistance was forthcoming in travelling expenses. The chairman stated that on this 'Occasion clubs had to pay their own expenses in this direction. It was decided to extend the time for the closing of entries to. May 3S.
