(By “Byko.")

Inclement weather to some extent marred the Hamilton Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club’s second road race held over a course, of 20 miles to Cambridge and back on Saturday. A 1 though a field of eight riders compe'tod, Hie showery weather militated against fast times and only moderate clockings were recorded. T. Harris rode his'first race of the season and in company with J. Townsend, on five minutes, rode consistently to dead-heat for first place. He is an ambitious rider who toils consistently. H. Hyde, a good middle marker, showed old form over iho first 20 miles and did well to ride to within half a wheel of Hodgson in a dash to Iho post. He shows up well In a fast field.
