FALL FROM A HORSE. TE KTJITI, Monday. Through falling from a horse yesterday Derrick Duncanson, aged about 12 years, received a fracture of the wrist.
YOUTH KICKED BY HORSE. WHAKATANE, Monday. While attending to his horse before setting out for the Mounted Rifles camp, L. Davies, aged 18, of Opouriao, was kicked on the head .‘.by the animal. ' He was found to be suffering from severe concussion. RUN OVER BY TRUCK. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. A fracture of the right leg was received by Mr Perclval Major, aged 40, as a result of being run over by a motor-truck at Runciman yesterday. STRUCK BY CAR. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. Suffering from abrasions' and slight concussion, Mervyn Williams, aged 12, was admitted to the hospital last, evening. The injured boy was knocked down by a car while crossing the road. FOOTBALLERS INJURED. WHANG ARE!, Monday. In tackling a player during a football match at Parako on Saturday, George Ruddell, aged 26 years, of the Mangakahia senior team, received an injury to the eye. it was found be was suffering from a haemorrhage of the inside of the eye.
While playing for the Public Service junior team, A. L. Dodds, of the Public Trust Office, received a fracture of tho nose. Another member of the team was requested to leave the field by the referee owing lo having received a kick on the side of ihe head. The Whangarel Rugby Union is adhering strictly to the practice of last, season that any player receiving a kick on the head must leave the field*
