RUN OVER BY ENGINE.
RELIEF WORKER KILLED.
’DUNEDIN, Monday,
In the railway yards this morning Mr. Thaddeus Edward McMahon, a relief worker, with another man, was about to join a train to Puketeraki, where he was to have worked, and was walking along by the line when an engine came up from behind and he was dragged beneath it, receiving extensive injuries to the body. ’Mr. McMahon was a marrlod man with six children.
