AT FRANKTON YARDS
ALL QUOTATIONS FIRM
There was a good yarding of ox and cow beef at the weekly stock sale at the Frankton yards to-day when last week’s quotations were fully maintained. The quality was first class. Sheep were also penned in good nhmbers, the quality being first class. Here again late values ruled. There was a large yarding of pigs and prices showed little alteration.
Quotations: —Reef, Prime heavy fat bullocks', £G 10s lo £7; heavy fat bullocks, £4 15s to £5 10s; lighter fat bullocks, £3 18s to £4 12s Gel; heavy fat cows, £3 5s to £3 17s fid; lighter fat cows, £2 8s to £3; light fat cows, £1 10s to £2 2s. Sheep: Heavy fat wethers, 14s fid to 15s fid; medium fat wethers, 12s fid lo 13s fid; lighter fat wethers, 11s fid lo 12s 3d; heavy fat ewes, 8s to Os fid; lighter fat owes, fis fid to 7s fid; heavy fat lambs, 11s to 13s fid. Pigs: Heavy fat baeoners, 30s lo 435; heavy porkers, 18s to 28s; slips. 7s lo 10s; wcaners, -Is to 7s.
