BABY’S NARROW ESCAPE.
FALL INTO TUB OF WATER. Rita, the 14-months-old daughtet of Mr and Mrs R. Cowan, Frankton Junction, had a narrow escape from drowning yesterday afternoon, when she fell into a tub of water. When Mrs Cowan went outside she found the baby’s head immersed in a tub ot' water in the backyard. The child was rushed to the Waikato Hospital, where her condition is satisfactory. She is suffering from shock.
