TENNIS DANCE.

AT WAITERIMU-MATAHURU. The Lake View and Matahuru Tennis Clubs held a most successful danoe in the , Waiterlmu-Matahuru Hall last Thursday. The hall was decorated with nikau palms and streamers of the blubs’ colours. Excellent music was supplied by Allan’s Orchestra. Extras were played by Mrs McGovern and Miss M. Wallaoe. The following novelty danoes were won as follows: —Spot waltz, Miss V. Fitness and Mr A. East; Monts Carlo, Miss D. Bramley and partner; statue danoe, Miss M. Hill and partner. Among those present were: Mesdames Speedy, wearing cherry satin; W. Copeland, rose orepe de chine and laoe; Wallaoe, saxe blue satin; McGovern, bottle green satin beaute; J. Hill, royal blue satin; L. Barnett, pink orepe de chine; D. Hill, blaok georgette and velvet; Fitness, nigger brown ring velvet; Harrison, black orepe de chine; R. Grundy, black lace; Mason (Huntly), wine lace; Misses J. Allan, floral voile and black velvet bridge coat; D. Bramley, black satin beaute; V. Fitness, turquoise blue souple satin; M. M. Hill, pink satin; M. Wallace, scarlet georgette; M. McGovern, pussy willow green crepe de chene; Y. Bramley, lemon crepe de chene and lace; M. Hill, figured ivory satin; F. Bramley, princess blue satin beaute; J. Harrison, red georgette; L. Fitness, willow green suede satin; r'. Gurr, pink crepe satin; M. Wallace black satin and lace; P.
