AUSTRALIAN EMBARGO.
PROTEST AGAINST LIFTING.
(Received April 27, 8.45 a.m.) MELBOURNE, April 27
A spirited protest asainst the lifting of the embargo on New Zealand potatoes,' on - account of corky scab, was lodged with the Minister of Agriculture, Mr Allan, by a deputation representing every potato-growing area in Victoria. Mr Allan promised to submit the representations to his Government.
