buffalo blamed.

NATIVE’S 30 MILE WALK.

United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright (Received April 27, 12.30 p.m.) RANGOON, April 26.

Mrs Bonney, the Australian airwoman, who was on a trip from Australia to Britain, hut oraslied on the beach at Baing, has arrived here. She explains that the cash on Baing beach was due to a buffalo. A heavy storm compelled her to land on Hie beach, a buffalo crossed the path of the machine and, thinking the animal might be a -sacred one, she attempted to avoid it, but in doing so the wing hit the water and the plane overturned. A native took a letter to the mainland and walked 30 miles through dense forest to a New Zealander, Mr Aitain and a Scotsman, Mr Peteire, who came with food and first aid in a launch.
