WORLD CONFERENCE.
PREPARATORY COMMITTEE TO MEET ON SATURDAY. 60 COUNTRIES INVITED. (Official Wireless.) (Received April 27, 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, April 26. The 'Organising committee of the World Economic Conference will meet on Saturday under the chairmanship of Sir John Simon, and representatives of France, Germany, Italy, United States, Belgium, Japan and Norway, will attend. Invitations to participate will be sent to sixty powers. Mr MacDonald, President Roosevelt and M. Herriot agreed that the conference should open on June 12, and the organising committee, it is expected, will accept that date.
