ROME, April 26
It Is reported that 119 people were killed and 500 injured in an earthquake on. the island of Kos in the Aegean Sea. CALCUTTA, April 26.
A cyclone in the Unao district of the United Provinces followed by a fierce hailstorm wrecked a number of villages and left a trail of destruction over an area of 16 miles. Twenty-nine people were killed. Hundreds of cattle perished and crops were ruined.
