(To the Editor). Sir, —I see Pastor Salisbury’s challenge has been taken up. Nowhere in fhe Bible has God said that man has an immortal soul; that is something that is not received by .man until he reaches the spirit plane of which there Is only a small number as quoted m Bev. 14, 3 and 4, The rest are given an incorruptible body as quoted In Ist Car. 15—54. I fail to see what the stone which David slung at the Phillistine has to do wi(h the immortal soul as “J.R.” has given in his letter. in the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out, of it was’t thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Evidently -mankind Is under the death penalty until the day of God’s wrath Is passed and our -Saviour, Jesus Christ, has brought forth all out of the grave on the day of resurrection, which is now close at hand. —I am, etc., R.
