The paper says: “It la true that applicants for the vacant professorships know their work, but Will they possess the magic of strong Indlvl*dualities and so be able to inspire German youths to undertake scientific work?" . The /Tageblatt 'cites fthe names-of many famous Jewish scientists and questions whether medicine, jurisprudence and other professions are really dominated by Jews. RAID ON RUSSIANS. The police raided the headquarter* of the Germah-Russian Petroleum Company and arrested 20 German employees on charges of Communist activities. The Soviet has lodged a sharp protest. Previously the police raided the company’s premises on. April 1 wheii they arrested 13 employees. The police state that papers seized Confirm their suspicions. In pursuance of Unification the Nazis have appointed a commission to administer the Rhineland and Westphalian Bankers’ Association. Now practically every organisation in the Rhineland, except religious, are dominated by Nazis, who have even seized the hairdressers’ organisation.
