Does cold cream grow hair on the face? Doesn’t powder clog the pores? isn’t a permanent Injurious to the hair? Isn’t eye make-up bad for the eyes? These are just some of the questions asked Nancy Carroll. As regards cold cream 'causing the growth of hairs on the face, Nancy ■offers herself as an illustration. In the theatrical profession it is essential to use cold cream lavishly, and Nancy's skin is quite clear and free from all blemishes. Powder will not clog the pores if the face is thoroughly 'cleansed with a good cold cream each night, nad then an astringent applied, and permanent waving Is no longer injurious to the hair, as the lotions used are harmless and the hair is not exposed to terrific heat.
