PLUNKET SOCIETY.
NGARUAWAHIA BRANCH. At the annua! meeting of the Ngaruawahia branch of the Plunket Society, Mr S. G. Read presided over a good attendance of members, representatives being present from the Taupiri and Huntly-Glen Afton subbranches. Reports and balan'ce-sheets were presented by headquarters and the various sub-districts, and showed that the work had been well supported. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows President, Mrs D. R. Welch; vice-presidents, Mesdames Sampson and Hall; secretary, Mrs Feeney; treasurer, Mrs Joy; committee, Mesdames Cameron, Burke, McGruer, Isdale and Marriott; lion, auditor, Kir W. G. Adams; advisory committee, Dr. D. Martin, Messrs H. J. Sampson, A. Warburton, W. G. Adams and S. C. Read.
