DUNEDIN, Wednesday. The Band Contest was continued to-day. Results: — B Flat Cornet Championship. —G. Christie (St. Kilda Municipal Band), 88 points, i; J. E. Wills (Invercargill Civic Band), 84 points, 2; <W. H. Oshome (Timaru Municipal Rand), 83 points, 3. The judge said the standard attained was not up -to championship form, only one player, Christie, bringing out the real beauties of the cornel. Hass Trombone Solo (own choice).
