FLANNEL DANCE.
SUCCESS AT PUKEMIRO. A successful flannel dance under the auspices of the Pukcmiro and Glen Afton Cricket Club was held in the Miners' Hall at Pukemiro. The hall had been tastefully decorated for the occasion. The music was supplied, by Perien's Orchestra from Huntly, and the duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr W. Martin. The winners of the statue waltz were Mrs T. Wilkinson and Mr T. Kerr, while the chocolate waltzes were won by Miss Sefton and Mr Sefton. and Mr and Mrs Weher. The competitions were won by Mr Blue, Miss D. Cairns, Mr Chappell and Miss Millar. Among those present were:—Mesdames M. Blythe, rose crepe de chine; W. F. Brown, floral taffeta; W.
