WEDDING.
CAROLAN—RICHARDS, A very pretty wedding was solemnised at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Cambridge, on Saturday, February 18, by the Rev. A. C. McLean, when Miss Jessie Elizabeth Richards, secoyJ daughter of Mr and Mrs T. F. Richards, of Cambridge, was married to Mr Frederick Donald Carolan, eldest son of Mrs Carolan and the late Dr. James Carolan, of Hamilton. The bride, who was accompanied by her father, looked charming in a graceful gown of ivory satin and Egyptian lacc. She was wearing a dainty Iloniton lace veil, with sprays of orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet of white begonias, roses and carnations and asparagus fern. The bridesmaids, Miss Claire and Miss Molly Richards, sisters of the bride, wore frocks of cornflower blue and moss rose georgette with felt hats trimmed with velvet ribbons to match, and carried bouquets of tangerine, moss rose and blue flowers to tone. The bridegroom was supported by his two brothers. Mr Gordon Carolan as best man and Mr Rex Carolan as groomsman. The church was tastefully decorated. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Triangle Tea Rooms. The bride’s mother received her guests in a 'charming frock of parma violet crepe de chine and grey georgette, with hat to match, and carried a bouquet of purple pansies and tangerine dahlias. The bridegroom’s mother wore a lovely frock of black beaute satin with hat to match and 'carried a bouquet of scarlet flowers and autumn berries. After the reception the guests were entertained by Mr and Mrs Richards at their home. The bride and bridegroom later left on their honeymoon, the'bride travelling in a green cloth ensemble with toque of brown and tangerine chenille velvet and brown fox fur. Mr and Mrs Carolan will make their home In Hamilton.
