MANGAWARA NOTES
ENJOYABLE DANCES. A delightful dance was held recently in Mr P. Rasmussen’s hall in aid ol liie Mangawara School, when a large number was present. The ball was prettily decorated with multi-coloured streamers. A weightguessing competition was held, and a cake was won by Miss Marjorie Wallace and Mr Farmer. Music was supplied by Mrs Rasmussen, and an excellent supper was provided by Hie ladies. Mr and Mrs George Farmer held an enjoyable tennis dance at their residence on the To Hoc Road, ohinewai. Dancing on the lawn was enjoyed In music rendered by Mr Allan's Orchestra (Huntly). A delicious supper was provided by the ladies.
