THE KAITAIA SENBATION. MAORI YOUTH REMANDED. AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Rlrl Manuel, aged 17 years, a Maori, appeared on remand before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., In the Police Court yesterday, oharged with murdering Hall Wera Houkamau Raplhana at Kaitaia on January 8. The magistrate commented that aocused had been In custody for a long time. A remand for a week was granted.
