MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
SITTING AT MATAMATA. At the .Magistrate’s Court, Matamata, before Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., F.W. Hutchison was proceeded against for not meeting a promissory note for £142 in favour of the late Edward Fitzgerald, who died In Ireland. Technical argument was submitted by defending counsel and decision was reserved. In a case between Norman D. Clifford, farmer, Morrinsvilte, and 11. J. N. Scott, farmer, of Okorolre, arising out of a collision on the MatamataOkoroire road on May 29, judment was given for the plaintiff for amount claimed, £34 8s Gd, and costs according to scale.
