WANGANUI WOOL SALE.
VALUES DECLINE. Values for orossbred wool, particularly coarser oounts, showed a further decline at the Becond sale of the season at Wanganui, which opened on Friday, and a large percentage of the total offering of 27,000 bales was passed in at prices ranging from a farthing to three farthings down on current values. For lined wools, prices were on a par with late rates, but there was not a great deal of this quality"offered, the catalogue comprising chiefly coarse bush wools. Bradford buyers were the chief operators for fleece wool, with the Continent bidding for some lines. French buyers took most of the bellies and jpleoes. ; After half the brokers had finished selling it could be said that poor wool, unskirted and seedy, was neglected, but better-class clips, well skirted, were on a par with Napier values. Unpayable prices were offered for any Inferior quality lines, and the sale was .of a dragging nature. The range of prices at the Wanganui wool sale was as follows: d. d.
