FORCED DOWN AT SEA.
AN AMPHIBIAN MACHINE. FIVE PASSENGERS ESCAPE. United Press .Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. MELBOURNE, Jan. 26. A tri-motored amphibian machine which was being down from King Island to Melbourne to-day was forced down on heavy- seas running between Lome and the Wye River. The machine was beached. Her five passengers were not hurt, but she was damaged.
