The French reply to America renews the urgent demand for deferment of debt payment and repeats the reasons therefore. The note adds that the request implies 'llio safeguarding of mutual rights. It would he extremely grave If the Lausanne solution were again questioned, and the resumption of payments 'before a general dissipation of the depression would he ruinous to the whole world.
