Officials of 'the town of Arborg have appealed to the provincial Government for an armed protective force as the result of rioting by 500 fanners, who prevented the sales of farms for unpaid taxes by storming the town ball, destroying the tax records, and forcing the bailiff to resign after being stripped of his clothing.
