EXCHANGE PROBLEM.
NO DEVELOPMENTS.
PARLIAMENTARY POSITION. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. No developments occurred to-day in connection with the position created by the refusal of the Bank of New Zealand to raise the exchange rate as urged by the rural section of the Coalition Parly. The Cabinet was unable to continue its deliberations to-day, while members connected with the agitation to secure some form of assistance for the farmer feel that their request has been well ventilated, and sufllcient lime must be given lo the Government to indicate its policy lo meet the crisis. As previously announced, a caucus of the Coalition Party has been convened for Thursday, and it is unlikely that any announcement on the subject will he made until after that meeting.
