WEDDING.

CURNOW—CROSS. The wedding was celebrated at St. Paul’s 'Methodist Church, Hamilton, on the afternoon of November 24, between Miss Thelma Marion Cross, only daughter of Mrs and the late Mr E. S. Cross, of Whitiora, anti .Mr William Duncan 'Curnow, son of Mr and Mrs W. IF. Curnow, of Aorere, Nelson. The Rev. Mr ■Hocking officiated. The bride, who was given away by her grandfather, Mr W. Gross, of Christchurch, wore a frock of cream crepe de chine made with tight-fitting bodice and sleeves of silk lace, and fully flared, skirt. Her veil was of silk net edged with lace. She carried a Tuched .muff of the same material as her dress. The bridesmaid, Miss Ida Sargent, (cousin of the bride), wore a dress of sage green georgette with floral design in shades of primrose -and pink, made with long flared skirt and frilled crepe collar. Her hat was of green straw, trimmed with pink cherries. She wore silk lace mittens and carried a frilled muff of the material of uer dress. Little 'Ailccn Parsons and Ngalro Jones (niece of the bridegroom), attended the bride as Bower girls. They were dressed alike in early Victorian frocks of pale pink satin. The skins were trimmed with nichings of green and their collars were also of green silk. They wore poke bonnets ami carried baskets of flowers. The bridegroom was attends 1 by Mr €. Redgate, of Te Awamutu, as best man. A reception was afterwards held at tho residence of Mr and Mrs W. J. Waters, Liverpool Street. The rooms were decorated with streamers of pink, green and white, and the tables were arranged with vases of pastel shaded stocks, sweetpeas and roses. The wedding cake was made by M'm Elrick and decorated by Miss E. Diamond. The guests were received by Mrs Cross, who wore a navy crepe de chine dress trimmed with beige georgette and a black and while bat. Site was assisted lay Mrs Waters, who wore save crepe marocain with front of apri'eot satin. •Mr and Mrs Curnow left later in the day for a short honeymoon, the bride wearing a black serge suit with pink satin blouse and a silk beret and scarf to match. Their future home will be at Aorere.

Howe, black and white georgette; Mrs Rendell, black and white crepe de chine; Mrs Wheatley (Plrongia), grey costume; 'Miss F. 'Corboy, navy costume; Miss E. Diamond, cream serge skirt and jumper; Miss C. Ilcndeli, pale blue silk; Messrs W. JI. Waters, E. and 11. Grigg, A. Jones, K. McKinnon, L. Sargent, M. Elrick, Geary (who acted as pianist), and the Rev. Mr Hocking and Masters E. Cross and G. Curnow.
