CAGE BIRD CLUB.
INTEREST IN HAMILTON. FIRST 1 ANNUAL MEETING. The first annual general meeting of the Hamilton Canary and Cage Bird Club was well attended. A statement of receipts and expenditure was read and adopted, and although it disclosed a small deficit it was agreed that in view of the short time the chili had been in existence the position was satisfactory. The New Zealand Federation of Cage Bird Clubs having asked for information as to the date on which the club proposes to hold its next show, it was decided to hold this event oil June 2 and 3, 1033, if these dates are approved. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Dr. F. 1). Pinfold; president, Mr T. Barker; vice-presidents, Mrs F. I). Pinfold and Messrs. I). Malltiesnn, J. Briscolt and It. t*. \oung; secretary-treasurer. Mr 1). Starr; committee, Mesdamcs F. Bullock, F,. A. Cox, E. Jones, T. Barker and D. Sutton, Miss M. Malhiesnn, Messrs. J. Bongard. F. Bullock. K. A. Cox, C. L. Davis and S. Briscott and Master A. Cox. It is intended !o arrange for leclures in lie given on matters of interest to fanciers and for periodic visits io the aviaries in the district.
