COMMUNISTS’ CHAIN LETTERS. BELGIAN CHIEFS AGITATED. URGED TO MASSACRE WHITES. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyrighu (Received Nov. 29, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 28. The Times’ correspondent at Brus* sel;? says the Communists are sending chain letter threats to the native chiefs in the Belgian Congo, who are asked to copy the letters and send them to six other chiefs under penalty of a curse or death. The letters inform the natives that the whites have stolen their land and urge a revolt, exhorting a massacre of the whites, stating that war is again raging in Europe.
The. letters are greatly agitating the superstitious natives, necessitating troops occupying several districts.
