WEDDINGS.

CLIST—JUDGE. The marriage of Alaude Amanda Judge, only daughter of Airs J. Thom, of YVhakatane, to Alfred Ernest Clist, youngest son of Airs ,T. Clist, of Christchurch, was celebrated recently at Knox Church, AVhakatane. The Rev. Butterworth officiated, and the wedding music was played by Aliss L. Sutherland. The 'church was beautifully decorated with lilies and sweet peas hv friends of the bride. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of Air ,T. Thom, wore a frock of ivory satin beaute, cut on simple lines with a full flare falling to the ankles. Her point lace veil was finished with clusters of orange blossoms at the sides and fell to form a train, She carried a sheaf of madonna lilies and asparagus fern. In attendance as bridesmaids were the Alisses Aliriam de Lautour and Sally Tapp, of Hamilton, who were frocked respectively in thrush-egg blue georgette and shell-pink georgette. They wore large summer felt hats to tone and carried shower bouquets of roses, sweet peas and carnations. The little flower-girl, Alarjorie Hooper (cousin of the bride), wore a frilled frock of shell-pink georgette with lace mittens and Juliet cap trimmed with rosebuds, and carried a posy. Air D. Henderson, of Auckland, attended as best man, and Air AV. Prichard, of Hamilton, as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Parish Hall, where Airs Thom received her guests attired in black and cardinal crepe satin, with a red hangkok straw hat to tone. GEARY—KAY. The wedding was solemnised In the Methodist Church, Otorohanga, last Thursday morning by the Rev. YV. S. Silvester between Rachel, the eldest daughter of Air and Airs G. Kay, Otorohanga, and Eric Edward, the fourth son of Mr and Airs W. Geary, Otoro; hanga (late of Tauranga). The bride’s dress was of white silk crepe invicta made to fit the figure, with the full skirt falling to the ankles. The sleeves were long, and the veil of net (lent by Hie sister of the 'bridegroom) was held in place by a coronet of pearls and orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of pale pink roses. Aliss Alargaret Kay, sister of the bride, was in attendance, wearing a frock of pale pink crepe de chine, with a headdress of pearls and,, tulle, and carried a bouquet of pink and white sweet peas. The little flower girl, Fay Griffiths, niece of the bridegroom, wore a pale pink crepe de chine frock and carried a charming bouquet of sweet peas. As the bride entered the church, on the arm of her father, the organist (Airs Walters) played the appropriate music. During the service the hymn, "Oh, Perfect Love,” was sung, and the young couple ’left the church to tlie strains of the Wedding Alarcli. ATr Ron Harris carried out the duties of best man. The church had been decorated in pink and white by the ladv members of the local Oddfellows Lodge, of which both bride and bridegroom are prominent members. At the reception, at the home of the bride’s parents, Airs Kay received the numerous guests in a dress of cornflower blue angel cloth, with hat to tone, and carrying a posy of white roses. The bridegroom's mother, Airs W. Geary, wore a cyclamen blue dress and hat, and carried a bouquet of mauve sweet peas.
