WOMEN’S DIVISION The Otorohanga branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union celebrated its second birthday last week. Visitors were present from Pio Pio, Te Awamutu, Te Kulti and district settlements. The president of the local branch of the Farmers’ Union, Mr S. A. Cooke, was a guest, and congratulated the women’s branch on its achievements. Farewell Evening. A farewell evening was given by friends of the Otorohanga Oddfellows’ Lodge and other well-wishers lo Miss Rachael Kay and Mr Eric Deary (who are engaged lo ho married).
