[MEETING OF COUNCIL. The Mayor (Mr W. T. Osborne) presided at the fortnightly meeting of the Morrinsvlllo Borough Council. it. was dcciced to make an appeal to all Borough Councils throughout New {Zealand lo urge the Government to I proceed immediately with legislation to amend Sections in and bO of the Valuation of Land Act The Public Works Department advised that Hie amount available for expenditure on main highways in the l borough was as follows: —On Thames Street., £IOO, plus llio borough's third; on Sludholmo Street, £bb, plus the borough’s third.
