BEEKEEPERS’ CONFERENCE.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —in a recent issue of your paper Mr Geddes complains of an unfair report of our meeting held on the 15th inst. This, after eulogising you for your fairness in such matters, with which view I am entirely in accord. He infers that I was able to influence you dn your report—surely a great oompliment to myself, or, contrariwise, to you, Sir. This was the largest meeting of beekeepers ever held in the Waikato, and Mr Geddes states that he only knew one member. This, Sir, must surely indicate that, he has no personal opinions of the view in regard to export markets taken up by the majority of New Zealand's largest beekeepers. Other countrios are striving desperately to copy our methods and recent reports from the High Commissioner highly oonunend the work of our board. Beekeepers would be ill-advised to drop the bone and grasp at the shadow, as Mr Geddes wishes. —I am, etc , A. H. DAVIES, Secretary, South Auckland Branch N.B.A. Hamilton, November 25, 1932.
