MR WATSON’S ASSAILANTS. SENTENCES IMPOSED. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received Nov. 18, 11.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 17. Sunil Kumar Chatterjee has been sentenced by the special tribunal to transportation for life, Promode ißanjan Bose to ten years haid labour, and Aniar Chandra Chose to two years’ hard labour for the attempted murder of Air A. H. Watson, editor of the Statesman, Calcutta. Tlic other three accused —Outt, Daa and Brakshi —were acquitted.
