The Commerce Department and the United States Chamber of Commerce announced to-day that separate investigations had disclosed the fact that 150,866,000 dollars worth of United States exports to Canada and Britain would be affected by the tariff preferences they had accorded to each other under the Ottawa agreements. These totals will hardly be completely lost to the United States, but it is expected that the losses, nevertheless, will be considerable.
