NO WILD 60HEME8. MR. BRUCE’S ASSURANCE. United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. LONDON, Nov. 16. Mr. S. M. Bruce, Australian Minister In London, is visiting Bradford. Speaking at a luncheon -of the Federation of British Industries he gave his assurance that no foolish action would be taken by Australia on the Commonwealth Wool Committee’s report. The Commonwealth Government would not be a party to any wild schemes which would create an artificial position and excessive prices which eventually would react on Australia. Mr. Bruce emphasised also.that’ the tariff policy of Australia was solely due to financial, not fiscal, considerations and the necessity of meeting external obligations.
