The Ministry has decided to vary its plans for assisting wheat-growers. For direct assistance to wheatgrowers in financial difficulties, £2,000,000 will be made available. Instead of the £1,250,000 previously proposed. A further £250,000 will be used to help primary producers other than wheat-growers in the purchase of superphosphates.
