GENEROUS BEQUESTS.
TO ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. (By Telegraph.—u>•"«■» .<«cf>r|n'inn.) DUNEDIN, Friday. Substantial bequests to the Roman Catholic Church are made under the will of the late Annie Harrington, whose estate was sworn at £ 14,000. The bequests arc for many Catholic organisations in the Dunedin district except for £SOO for the Order of the Sisters of Lewisham, Sydney. The sum of £IOOO goes to the Holy Cross College at Mosgiel, for the provision of a Harrington bursary for education for the priesthood. After certain personal legacies, and subject to several life interests, the residue Is bequeathed to the Dunedin bishop for the benefit of the church.
