FREEZING DISPUTE.
MEETING AT HOROTIU. ' UNIONISTS DISCUSS POSITION 1 . There were 94 members of thl Horotiu branch of the Freezing Workers’ Union at a meeting held this morning in the vicinity of the works. The present situation regarding the dispute, and the industry generally was discussed, and reports on Hie position in other centres considered. Confidence in the officials of the national executive of the union was expressed. There was no suggestion of a disturbance being caused, the meeting being very orderly. A further meeting is to be iJCia OB Tuesday.
