THE WINTER SHOW.

SATISFACTORY YEAR. “EXPENDITURE JUSTIFIED.” MR J. TRELOAR RE-ELECTED. Satisfaction at the result of the year’s operations was expressed at the 26th annual meeting of the Waikato Winter Show Association this morning. The president, Mr J. Treloar, presided over a fair attendance of members. Referring to the annual report and balance-sheet, Mr F.’ A. Snell remarked that the profits were small, but he considered the association had been fortunate to show a profit at all. They had spent a good deal of money but as it had been in the interests of distressed humanity it had been money well spent. He had quite expected that the association would show a loss of at least £4OO on the year’s working and it was all the more gratifying to see the position as it is.
