HAMILTON OOLPERB. SUCCESS IN MANAWATU. Two Hamilton golfers, 3. H. darken and J. W. Jones, put up most Creditable performances at the ManaWatu (Championships (played '(on the Hokowhitu links. They annexed the medal handicaps under most trying Cllmatio conditions, and both players' handicaps were reduced. His rounds were 70 —78, total 148. H. A. Black, of Miramar, 79—72, 151 was second; Sime (Westport), §o—7B, fifth; V-. G. Ffyer, 164, ahd H. E. Troutbeck 165 (both of napler), seventh and eighth.
