WELLINGTON, Thursday. fin the House of Representatives last evening the opinion that Sir Aplrana Ngata “was not a fit person to bold the job of Attorney-General” was expressed by Mr W. P. Endean (Government —Parnell). Mr Endean said that SIC Thomas Sldey, ill the Upper H’Ouse, had dohe justioe to the posltibh, when he occupied the offioe of Attorney-Gen-eral, but men in the Lower House did not seem to oome up to the standard. ,
