BOOKMAKERS’ HARVEST. 100 TO 1 CHANCE. ONE LUCKY SPECULATOR. 'nlted Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received Oct 27, 1.45 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 26. It is years since 100 to 1 chances wore first and third in an important handicap. The bookmakers had the time of their lives as scarcely a backer found the winner, though one lucky man named the two horses in a special tote pool and got £1773 for an outlay of ten shillings. Pull Over was only entered because a brother and sister had a friendly bet. as to whether Palomino, which is owned hv Sir Edward Talc, or his. sister’s Pull Over was flic better at tlio weights. Apart from the family wager, Mrs Robinson only had 40s on Pull Over. Tho success of Pull Over lias smashed thousands of double-event wagers on tile Cesarowitcli and Cambridgeshire.
