LATE MISS ROTHWELL.
BOROUGH COUNCIL TRIBUTE. DEVOTION TO SICK AND NEEDY. The Hamilton Borough Council last evening decided to place on record appreciation of the services rendered to Hamilton and the Waikato by the late Miss E. M. Rothwell, at one time, matron of the Waikato Hospital. The Mayor, Dr. F. D. Pinfold, In making the suggestion, paid a glowing tribute to Miss Rothwell and her untiring devotion to the sick and needy of Hamilton and district. These sentiments were supported by councillors and the council stood in silejice for a few moments out of respect to her memory.
